I have this early model of what I have been told is an Ercol arm chair and really early design and unusual design. I have done a bit of research and never found a design like this. I got the chair a couple of years ago and was told it was from the 1930's which makes sense. I just don't have room for it now and it needs to go so i can fit in a computer desk into the room instead.It is in OK condition but i would say if you were a collector would need some restoration - sanding down, revarnishing and there is a bit of damage on the back as you can see in the one of the pictures and the seat will need to be redone. I have just put a cushion on it but the supports underneath are original and are in good condition.It is a lovely chair with lots of character and charm.The buyer would need to arrange to collect as I do not drive.The price is negotiable. I have been advised that this is the price I should be charging for a chair of this kind.
